Aims and Scope

Editorial policy of the journal Journal of Osh State University. Agriculture: Agronomy, Veterinary and Zootechnics is based on the principles of objectivity and impartiality in the selection of articles for publication; high demanding to the quality of scientific research; mandatory review of articles; observance of collegiality in decision-making on the publication of articles; accessibility and efficiency in communication with authors; strict observance of copyright and related rights. The main criterion for selection of materials for publication is their novelty and relevance of ideas, scientific and factual reliability of the presented work.

Journal of Osh State University. Agriculture: Agronomy, Veterinary and Zootechnics covers modern research and innovations in the field of agriculture, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, covering both fundamental scientific research and applied solutions aimed at increasing productivity, sustainable development and food security. The journal has three main headings: Agronomy, Veterinary Science and Zootechnics.

Agronomy

  • Crop Production and Plant Protection - research in the field of crop cultivation, innovative methods of plant protection against pests and diseases, use of agrochemicals and biological means of protection.
  • Soil Science and Agrochemistry - study of soil resources, agrochemical analysis, fertility management, soil productivity improvement technologies.
  • Agricultural biotechnology - genetics and breeding of cultivated plants, use of GMOs and biotechnology techniques to improve plant yields and sustainability.
  • Sustainable agriculture and agroecology - principles of organic farming, adaptation to climate change, optimising the use of natural resources.

Veterinary Medicine

  • Prevention, diagnosis and treatment of animal diseases - infectious and non-infectious diseases of farm and domestic animals, modern diagnostic methods, veterinary drugs and vaccines.
  • Veterinary Biotechnology - development and implementation of biotechnological products including genetic engineering, probiotics and innovative therapeutic agents.
  • Zoonotic diseases and public health - research on diseases transmitted from animals to humans, epidemiological surveillance and prevention strategies.
  • Veterinary surgery and reproductive technology - modern surgical techniques, transplantation, artificial insemination and embryotransfer.
  • Animal hygiene and welfare - housing standards, stress prevention, methods to improve animal comfort in farms and kennels.

Zootechnology

  • Breeding and genetics of farm animals - breeding programmes, genetic research, methods of improving the productive qualities of animals.
  • Feeding and technology of fodder production - rational animal nutrition, development of fodder additives, innovative technologies of fodder processing.
  • Biotechnology in animal husbandry - cloning, application of probiotics and enzymes, use of new methods of animal reproduction.
  • Automation and digital technologies in animal husbandry - ‘smart’ farms, robotic milking systems, automated feed dispensers, animal health monitoring technologies.
     

The journal covers both fundamental research and practical developments aimed at the development of efficient, environmentally friendly and sustainable agriculture. We invite scientists, agronomists, veterinary specialists, zootechnicians and other specialists of the agro-industrial complex for publication.
